Clean Maritime Demonstrator Competition Project

The ACUA Ocean Clean Maritime Demonstrator project has gained supported by Innovate UK and the Department of Transport.

The Wolfson Unit MTIA is working with other University of Southampton partners to enhance the project using their hydrogen fuel cell, hydrodynamic and naval architectural expertise. Initially, Wolfson will use its hydrodynamic and aerodynamic CFD capabilities to support powering and range predictions for this novel design. Then further on in the project refine this further with the use of model scale towing tank tests in calm water and in waves.
